BUSH’S SPEECH
On January 10, 2007 President Bush gave a speech about sending more troops to Iraq. He plans on sending 21,500 more troops to Iraq. I think it’s a good idea so we can win the war. But also it’s not really that smart to send so many. We have lost so many lives. We should send some but not so many. If you want to know more click here. Hope you enjoy!
Foreign Exchange Student??
Would you become a foreign exchange student? I think it would be a lot of fun, but it would also be kind of scary. Don’t you think? You wouldn’t know where to go and you wouldn’t know how they would act with you. But i would take the chance to become an foreign exchange student just to experience. I would like to go to Puerto Rico. I really don’t know much about it but it sounds kind of interesting. Current Event-Saddam Hussein Execution
The Saddam Hussein Execution is the current event I have chosen. I think it is really good news. Everyone should know about it. Saddam Hussein should be important to all of us since he made us suffer so much. Their was so much deaths because of Saddam Hussein. Hey so do you think cellphones should be allowed in school? If you don’t your crazy!! Cellphones should be allowed in school! The cellphone is something fun to have around! Even though i don’t own one, I think they should be able to have them out when they are done with their work. well yeah tell me what you think so ill let you go now.
*Christmas*
On Christmas eve all our family goes to my aunts house to celebrate Christmas. We bring food to make. We usually make tamales. They are so good! Anyways our family picks out people to give gifts to. For example, like my mom has 4 kids so she picks 4 of my cousins to give gifts to. But you can gifts to anybody that’s just so everybody makes sure they get a gift. Anyways we stay up till 12 o’clock then we get to open our presents. I usually get like 5 presents each year. After we open our presents we start dancing to some Kumbia and Durangese music. My uncle and step dad are the best at dancing. We get in a circle and dance around the living room. It’s so much fun!! But you get really tiried. Nobody usually leaves till 7 in the morning. That’s basicilly for what we do on christmas.
Current Event
I choose this link because I can see that it made a lot of people happy and it also had a great impact on the soldiers in Iraq. This story made me feel like we should send some gifts to the people in Iraq too. If you begin to read this story you can see how interesting this was for the students at Sacred Heart School to do. They skipped school to send gifts to the soldiers in Iraq. How nice was that? You guys please read this event and tell me what you think about it?

*Thanksgiving Break*
On my thanksgiving break I had fun. On Wednesday we went to the store to buy a bunch of food. Then on Thursday all my aunts, uncles, and cousins went to my aunts house to celebrate Thanksgiving. We all brought our own dish. I was so full! Then after we ate my cousins and I played a little basketball. On Friday I just relaxed and went to couple of sales. My thanksgiving break was not the best but it was alright.
